To help with some planning of your trip, we've created and example itinerary below of what guests could expect throughout their stay. There's still more that we haven't included on the below, so if you're not interested in walking trails for example, just let us know and we can suggest some other activities for you to consider. We want all of our guests to have the best stay possible and we think we can help you do this by providing some insider local knowledge of some of the regions best attractions.

Enjoy lunch at the Burrawang Village Hotel & explore Fitzroy Falls

Lunch at Burrawang Village Hotel is available everyday from noon - 2.30pm. Take a look at the Menu 

​

After lunch, you can explore Fitzroy Falls, a great option is the East Rim & Wildflower walking track. It's a grade 3 track of just under 7 km return and takes around 2-3 hours. Visit National Parks for more information.

With so many adventure activities to choose from, you may find it hard to decide!

​

In the warmer months, guest can Kayak the Kangaroo Valley River & beyond. Kayaks can be hired from Kangaroo Valley Safaris (if you don't have your own). They can also assist with planning your paddle or you can join one of their tours. 

​

If a paddle isn't your thing, the team at Kangaroo Valley Adventure Company  have large range of other guided activities to choose from such as mountain biking, rock climbing or abseiling.

Explore the Wineries of Exeter & Sutton Forrest

Guests may choose to go on a self guided tour of the Exeter wineries or choose to join an organised tour by the team at The Grape Escape

Enjoy a round of Golf & a great local pub lunch at The Friendly Inn​

Book yourself in for a tee time at Kangaroo Valley Golf Club on 02 4465 0200

For lunch, visit the team at The Friendly Inn it's one of the regions oldest pubs. Their classic pub favourites on the menu, will satisfy.

Explore the nearby township of Berry​

​

For full information about what's happening in Berry, checkout the local tourism information centre here. If you happen to be in town on the day of the Berry Farmers Market, it's worth a look!

​

There's some amazing hidden gems in Kangaroo Valley, here's a few to explore!​

 

If you're looking for a stunning walking track, take a look at Flat Rock Waterhole and Falls. It's a moderately challenging walk and is only a 35 minute duration of 1.4km. 

​

Guests can also experience the historic suspension bridge, which you can do on bike. Take a look at the information of this self-guided tour on Visit Kangaroo Valley.

​

If you want to sneak in a wine tasting, guests can visit Yarrawa Estate

​

Hang on! You're staying in an amazing house with a stunning pool. Why not take advantage of it?  Enjoy by the pool, some of the delights you picked up in Berry a few days earlier.

There's just so many amazing Walks in the region. Checkout 3 Views Walking Track & Enjoy a Picnic at Tallowa Dam

​

Enjoy 3 Views Grade 3 walking track, of 9.5km return, taking around 3-4 hours in Morton National Park.

​

Guests could also enjoy a Picnic at Tallowa Dam. This great picnic spot, can be accessed via a sealed road approximately 20 kilometres from Kangaroo Valley. There is a small parking area with a lovely grassy spot for a picnic there are a couple of BBQs and a few picnic tables. It is a popular spot for fishing and canoeing. You can take a wander over to the dam wall and have a look at the fish ladder that is used to transport fish over the wall.

The Southern Circuit - from Kangaroo Valley guests can enjoy a round trip south along Moss Vale road to Nowra then back to Kangaroo Valley via Budong Road​

 

There's some fantastic spots to stop along the way. Starting with ​Cambewarra Lookout, then stopping in to sample the delicious wines at Cambewarra Estate

​

For lunch, guests can enjoy Ponte Car & Dining along with waterfront in Nowra. The menu varies seasonally, but there's always a local catch that's worth trying. 

​

Heading back via Budon Road, we suggest guests stop in for some organic wine at Lyrebird Ridge Organic Wines
